Alan L. Mitchell, M.D.
Dr. Mitchell, a board certified ophthalmologist, is one of an elite group
of fellowship trained refractive surgeons and has performed over 5,000 refractive
procedures. He is currently Medical Director of the Mitchell Refractive Surgery
and Eye Center.
As director of a National Consulting Service for Refractive Surgery and co-director
of the teaching program at the Casebeer Center for Keratorefractive Surgery and
Research in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Mitchell has taught ophthalmologists from
around the world. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on refractive
surgery and has trained hundreds of local area surgeons on the use of the excimer
laser for vision correction.
Dr.Mitchell uses the latest in laser
technology. With the active eye tracking
laser you don't have to worry about moving your eyes during
surgery. The laser compensates for voluntary and involuntary eye
movements to ensure accurate placement of the laser beam, therefore
optimizing your laser vision procedure.
His practice standards have made him known as a "doctor's doctor,"
as many local area doctors have trusted him with their laser
vision correction care as well as the care of their family members.
Dr. Mitchell will always continue to provide the highest quality
of care and service to his patients.
