Restylane®

When we are young our skin is smooth and elastic with a healthy glow. As we age, our ability to maintain that smoothness and elasticity diminishes, resulting in skin that becomes drier, thinner and less able to replenish itself. Our body’s natural collagen and hyaluronic acid levels decrease and our skin becomes looser. This leads to our skin wrinkling and appearing older than it should.

Approved by the FDA, Restylane is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane is able to perform for many months in your skin. The most common areas for a Restylane treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). When used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane will add shape and volume to the area. Restylane is able to create volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out.

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel is an injectable gel that gently reverses many signs of aging in the face, including fine lines and wrinkles, crow's feet, thinning lips and loosening skin. It can also "plump up" the lips, sculpt the cheeks, and restore a youthful oval shape to the face. It is made with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that works with collagen and elastin to give volume and support to the skin. Because it is non-animal-based and highly biocompatible, no pre-treatment testing is needed. JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel comes in three formulas optimized for the depth of the area being treated. Results last about 6-9 months and can be made to last even longer with a simple follow-up treatment a few weeks after the initial injection.

Latisse®

Full, natural-looking eyelashes can now be achieved through a prescription treatment called Latisse®. Latisse is the first and only eyelash treatment approved by the FDA to help grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes and treat hypotrichosis, a condition that includes having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

Latisse contains bimatoprost, an active ingredient that improves the appearance of your lashes and is often found in glaucoma medication. While the precise science of the treatment is not known, research suggests that the number of hairs and duration of the growth process are increased by bimatoprost.

RevitaLash®

RevitaLas Boca Raton RevitaLash® Eyelash Conditioner enhances your natural eyelash to create long, thick, full and beautiful lashes by nourishing the roots through a daily gel application. This product is designed to improve the look of lashes no matter how short, fragile, thin or sparse they currently are. It was designed by Dr. Michael Brinkenhoff after his wife’s lashes were affected by chemotherapy for breast cancer.

Patients are directed to apply RevitaLash once a day for approximately six months in order to achieve thicker, fuller lashes. It is suggested to make RevitaLash application a part of your nightly routine. Initial results are often visible within just two weeks. In order to maintain these results, it is recommended to continue using RevitaLash two or three times a week to prevent eyelashes from returning to their original state.

Permanent Makeup (Micropigmentation)

Micropigmentation, or permanent makeup, can improve a person’s appearance in a variety of ways, from eyebrow, eyelash and lip enhancement to scar and blemish camouflage to nipple/areola coloration following breast reconstruction. FDA-approved, allergy-tested dyes are made of mineral extracts and can be tinted to match the patient’s skin tone as closely as possible. The dyes are injected into the skin using micro-needles after the application of a topical anesthesia, with procedures lasting as little as 30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated. Results are visible immediately, although more than one session may be required for larger areas or touch-ups. Most patients are fully recovered within 24 hours. Contact lenses, makeup and direct sunlight should be avoided for the first few days.
