WHAT IS BOTOX?
Botox® is a therapeutic muscle-relaxing agent that inhibits the muscles

Botox® works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles.
As a result, the injected muscle can no longer contract, which
causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. When administered in
a safe and regulated environment, the relaxed muscles allow the
overlying skin to “smooth out” so that facial lines
and wrinkles disappear. Botox® treatments usually take about
15-20 minutes and keep the muscles that cause wrinkles relaxed
for up to four months. Treatment is fast, simple, and minimally
invasive, and results are visible within 7-10 days after administration.
